Study visits to Poland. Closer to practice.

A laboratory, a food production site, a joint class or a university exchange. I can help develop a useful programme for your group and identify relevant contacts in Poland.

Start with what students should learn

I am Natalia Horbach, a food technologist with a PhD in Chemistry and a lecturer in Poland. I enjoy teaching through experiments: students observe a process, work with materials and discuss their findings. Together, we can define the subject of a visit, its format and potential partners.

Which format would suit your group?

Intensive laboratory course

Practical classes in food chemistry, microbiology, biochemistry or product development. The topic, equipment, group size and safety requirements are agreed with the laboratory.

Study visit

An introduction to a university, laboratory or food business. A programme could combine a meeting with specialists, an overview of production processes and discussion of a practical assignment.

Placement or research internship

I can help define the learning objective and identify a contact to discuss it with. The university and host agree the placement content, supervision, timing and required agreements.

Erasmus+ mobility

We can discuss the idea and prepare for a conversation with your university’s international office. Selection, partner agreements, recognition of learning and funding are handled by the relevant institutions.

From the first conversation to an agreed programme

Define the brief

Subject area, level of study, group size, language, preferred dates and learning objectives.

Prepare a proposal

A short visit concept, class topics and a list of potential universities, laboratories or businesses.

Agree arrangements with the host

Check availability, admission requirements, budget and responsibilities. Plan tickets and other expenses once arrangements are confirmed.

My support covers programme content, relevant contacts and preparation for discussions. We agree the scope and fee separately. Group acceptance, funding and formal agreements depend on the host institution and programme rules.

Considering a broader partnership?

Joint research, a new course or a lasting university partnership could begin with a single study visit. Explore the separate pages on research collaboration and funding opportunities.
